	In order to raise some additional funds for our school, we have decided to collect used printer cartridges. These will be picked up regularly by a company who will pay us for each cartridge collected, and then recycle them. Apart from a financial bonus for our school, we are also conscious of the benefits to the environment. It takes 300 years for a printer cartridge to biodegrade in a landfill site, and an estimated £500,000,000 worth or cartridges have been dumped in landfill over the past decade! So, if you would like to help us raise a little extra money, whilst helping the environment at the same time, please send your used printer cartridges into school. If we manage to raise enough, we hope to be able to buy resources to support our teaching of environmental issues. We will be very grateful for your help.
