At Milford Infants' School we believe:- that children learn best where they can feel a sense of stability and have the support and interest from those at home and at school
- in recognising the importance of identifying children's strengths and weaknesses and in working together in order that their individual needs can be met
- in developing independence by equipping children with the skills they need for life and enabling them each to reach their full potential through the provision of a full range of challenging learning activities
- in providing an environment which is happy, stimulating and secure and in which children can grow in confidence and develop high self-esteem
- in developing caring attitudes towards each other and towards the environment in an atmosphere which is thoughtful and promotes a sincere respect for everyone irrespective of differences
- in courtesy, co-operation and fairness amongst children and adults alike
- in harnessing the children's natural thirst for life and giving them a real sense of joy
